FFXI Logs is a workshop landing page at ffxilogs.com, run by Poroburu. You can look at the page without an account. If you join, this page describes the account information we receive and what we do with it.

Information you give us

Email signup uses your email address so we can send a one-time code and create or open your account.

Google sign-in asks only for the basic profile scopes: OpenID, your email address, and your profile name. We use those to create your FFXI Logs account and show who joined. We do not ask for Gmail, contacts, calendar, Drive, or any other Google data.

Discord sign-in asks for the identify and email scopes: your Discord username, user id, and email address. We use those for the same account.

How that information is used

We use it to recognize your account, keep you signed in, and know who asked to be notified when the workshop opens. We do not sell personal information. We do not use Google or Discord data for advertising, and we do not share it with data brokers.

Authentication is provided by Clerk. Clerk stores the account and the sign-in session. The site is hosted by Vercel, which receives the usual connection data needed to serve the page, such as your IP address and browser type, in its hosting logs.

Cookies

Clerk sets cookies that are required to complete sign-in and keep the session. The landing page does not set an advertising or analytics cookie.

How long we keep it

We keep the account for as long as it exists. Email poroburu@gmail.com to ask for your account to be deleted, or to ask what we have stored for you.
